Elizabeth Schollaert
Elizabeth Schollaert is the founder and owner of Bird & Bear Bookkeeping LLC, a firm providing tailor built bookkeeping services for small businesses and nonprofits. Bird & Bear gives growing organizations the financial clarity they need to scale with confidence, without the cost or complexity of hiring in-house accounting staff. With a practical, relationship-driven approach, Elizabeth helps clients build strong financial foundations that support confident leadership and growth.
Elizabeth earned her accounting degree from the University of Tennessee and began her career at The Trust Company of Tennessee, where she developed a strong foundation in fiduciary responsibility and client trust. Between her tenure at The Trust Company and founding Bird & Bear Bookkeeping, she raised six children, an experience that sharpened her understanding of the demands, coordination, and decision-making required when teams and responsibilities grow. With a wealth of financial experience and a steady, thoughtful perspective, Elizabeth is passionate about providing reliable financial support that helps organizations thrive.

Mary Walker
Mary Walker is the owner and principal of Leaf Spring LLC, a company specializing in helping nonprofits INTENSIFY THEIR IMPACT through more efficient and financially favorable processes. She is passionate about nonprofit success and works to help her clients in revenue development, fraud prevention, board growth, strategic planning, and general business practices.
Before this, Walker served as the director of development at the Knoxville Museum of Art. She has previously worked in strategy, marketing, and finance in international corporations and her family’s automotive businesses. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee and her M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University. Walker has served on several local nonprofit boards, has been a trainer with the Alliance for Better Nonprofits, and currently teaches in a nonprofit graduate certificate program at the University of Tennessee.
